■ PROCEDURES

The following are procedures to help guide you through the RASADAZZLE, LLC process. Once step one is complete we will register your project with the State of Texas, and will email you the TABS registration number for your use to obtain your building permit.

 

■ Step 1:

Submit to RAS for Project Registration: RASADAZZLE recommends that you consider submitting your request to file with TDLR RAS plan review and for City of El Paso permitting at the same time.

 

1. Along with a PDF set of Architectural drawings you will need to submit 3 forms completely filled out:

    • AB05PRF - PROJECT REGISTRATION FORM
    • AB042POS - *PROOF OF SUBMISSION FORM

The A/E must sign and date item 11 of this form to include:

      • Date Construction Documents Issued- Please note that TDLR may fine the    Design Professional of record, if you do not submit your documents for TAS    Review within 20 days of sealed date on the drawings. See*
      • Date Construction Documents were issued to RAS # 1574 Carmen Byers
      • Signature of Design Professional and date signed
    • AB043OADF - OWNER AGENT DESIGNATION FORM – If applicable
      • This form is required when the owner is not going to participate in the project inspection.
      • It is important that the designated agent be authorized by the owner to be available to walk the TAS inspection and be responsible to sign the inspection letter or the owner will be responsible to be present at the site inspection.

2. Once RASADAZZLE receives these forms, we will register the project with TDLR and transmit TABS registration number and invoice via email.

■ Step 2:

 RASDAZZLE will begin the plan review once your invoice has been paid.

  1. After the plan review has been completed the RAS will transmit the following to the designer A|E Team.
    1. Plan Review letter
    2. Plan Review report
  2. If the RAS has any questions or has found any TAS violations, noted as UNACCEPTABLE the designer must address them and re-submit changes until the RAS approves the drawings.
  3. Once all violations have been corrected RASADAZZLE will transmit the following:
    1. Plan Review/Revision Complete letter
    2. Plan Review/Revision Complete report
